Can someone tell me the exact steps for setting your profile private? As in no one outside the conversation can see the full conversation.

You can choose to show your Visitor Messages for:
  • Everyone
  • Registered Members
  • Your Contacts
  • Your Friends
What I understand from your Question is that you wanna hide your conversations from people who are not in the conversation. Eg. You VM X, so only X and you can see the full conversation, not anyone else. I'm afraid that's not possible. If you set your visitor messaging privacy to Your Friends , then all of your friends would be able to see the conversation etc. But if the person that you are VM'ing has set their VM privacy to Friends only , then someone who is in your friends list (who is not a friend of the person you're VM'ing), would not be able to view the full conversation.
I hope you understood that lol
