^^ Title. How strong was Sengoku in his prime?

And how do you think he would do against WB, Roger, Shanks, Garp, Silvers, Mihawk, "insert character you want"?

In Chapter 0 (?) he and Garp both fought in order to defeat Shiki. They defeated him in the end, but half of the MF was destroyed.

definitely weaker than Garp . Should be at Silver Rayleigh's level or less i believe..

Also Don't forget Garp was serious enough to challenge Pirate King and never took promotions .

WB never mentioned Silvers as some big figure, like he did with Sengoku... It lead to assumption that Sengoku was stronger than Silvers.

Can't be sure about Shanks/Rayleigh/Dragon[even though I don't consider him in this league], but he defeats the rest...

I think that Prime Sengoku=Prime Garp (or a little under, maybe), but like Whitebeard, wasn't motivated to stay as relevant as Garp to capture big time pirates.

If I remember correctly, while Garp fought with Roger, Sengoku fought with Shiki, since Garp and Roger were rivals and Sengoku and Shiki were rivals.

Considering strongest Pirate(Roger) > at his marine rival(Garp) in his prime after a high difficulty fight, i think the pirate rival(Shiki) > at his marine rival(Sengoku) with about the same difficulty. And this could be further emphasized by the fact he couldn't handle him on his own(hence Garp's help)

That means Prime Roger could have probably mid-high diffed him at the absolute most
Prime Whitebeard being equal to Roger means he is below him by a similar margin
Prime Garp should defeat him after a high-very high difficulty fight
I also consider Prime Rayleigh roughly on Prime Garp level, so he should be somewhat below him as well, likely right on Old sick Whitebeard's level

So should be slightly stronger than yonkous(outside old sick whitebeard) and admirals

i think akainu,kuzan can defeat sengoku with extreme difficult
