Purely speculation this, I'd say Prime Rayleigh could high diff admirals. Prime Roger vs Prime Rayleigh would be Extreme diff either way, probably Roger with all the hype. Their relationship and power difference is similar to Zoro and Luffy.

It's interesting. Luffy even said that Pirate King should have swordsman by his side and Zoro will be best when Luffy become Pirate King. Maybe Roger also thought that he need good swordsman on his side (and later that swordsman became best) also Raylighy was first mate and Zoro behaves like one.

Roger vs Rayleigh is the same as Luffy vs Zoro. One is the captain for a reason, Roger and Luffy would win but seeing as it's their #2 obviously it'd be a hard fight all around.
