Eh, it wasn't really a legal name change or whatever. His real name is Gol D. Ace, he just preferred to be called Portgas D. Ace and told people that was his name out of respect for his mother.

Ok I understand. but it was kind of a silly move actually. She held in giving birth to Ace for so long so he could not be associated to Roger in any means and then gives him Roger's last name. Kind of a big risk tbh.

Because I can only recall the panel were he starts sweating and panting whereas Kizaru isn't, and then the panel where he says he'd have beaten Kizaru in his prime, but nothing illustrating him defeating him; damn Oda for not putting that panel in volume 53.

I think Dragon equals Roger, they have many things in common, one is father to Ace other father to Dragon, both their mentions receive the same reaction throughout the world, both are the most mysterious characters in OP, both are the most wanted criminals of their era, both are D's, ... Let me explain why I think Dragon is stronger..he is the son of Garp which means powerscaling he should be on par or at prime garp level...considering he is a younger garp..and garp and roger fought on par

What I'm getting at is garp was stronger than Rayleigh...so his son being in his prime going by that monkey d bloodline should be strong as prime garp too
