His 6 paths with edo jins depend on if kabuto keeps ET activated, if kabuto deactivates ET the jins dissapear (as it happened in the manga), so Prime Obito is:

All kabuto did was make them edo. Obito controlled both the beasts and the jins via rinnegan(rinne eyes are proof), and the sharingan in their eyes were obito's property as well.

Them being edo gives them unlimited chakra reserves but since they were jins in all actuality it wasn't needed.As for undying bodies...they are already dead.

If kabuto deactivates EDO TENSEI, his mastery on the jins is over, no other explanation than that

Obito possesses the outer path, & a stronger verson of nagato's to add. Outer path allows you to revive corpses to use as your "puppets", obito had the jinchuuriki corpses & he has the bijuu's chakra, therefore he can use the jinchuuriki paths in battle, obito even confirms it by threatening the kage with the bijuu. Now why would obito do that if he cant use their power on his own?
