Prime Netero vs Meruem

Title says all. Give your thoughts.. I've seen mixed opinions about this in past threads so I wanted people's opinions up until now.

This gets bounced about all the time. Prime Netero absolutely blitzes, weather or not he can get by Meruem's durability is up for discussion.

Well he said that at his current age he was 50% or more less stronger than his prime but I think Meruem still beats him cuz netero used zero on him and still only scratched him.
I think zero is the power of his will power .. and that doesn't get weaker by aging ( I think )

Netero would never be touched by Meruem though.

Now, if we are talking about prime netero ( no rose bomb) vs Meruem then that's different.

In my opinion, Meruem takes it. Prior to rose bomb, Meruem was barely even harmed, I don't see how giving netero double the power would make a difference.

How does he tie with old netero? He was literally tanking all his hits and that explosion blast that "killed" him still doesn't make much sense. Anyways it's anime so I won't question it that much.

Old Netero did not actually tie with Meruem. Even though the bomb did in fact turn Meruem into a crispy corpse, it was not a strength of Netero's but simply planted within him as a last resort. If you recall before he exploded, Netero had lost almost all of his limbs and was on the verge of being killed by Meruem. Without the bomb, Meruem definetly would have bested Netero. Netero in his prime if he was how he described would definetly be a good match up but I think that Meruem at full power would beat him even if it would be a very close match.
