It's still his prime, Sasuke is rusty too but both are stronger and more skilled now than they use to be. Naruto only got hurt because he let Sasuke into his barrier, Sasuke is the one who didn't notice the seal being placed on his sword even though Naruto told him not to drop his gaurd; Naruto only had to focus on protecting the kids. We never saw Naruto make a mistake when he himself is taking part in the fight.
OT. Current forms are. The Last versions are stronger than the War arc versions and the current versions would be more skilled than that. Part 1 Kakashi let himself get rusty in skill even though he still went on missions. Naruto has full Kurama so his chakra is doubled the reserve and even more powerful than in War arc with only Yin or Yang Kurama. Full Kurama KSM is equal if not greater than Yin/Yang Kurama BSM so Full Kurama using BM, BSM, and RM are levels above War arc Naruto. The Bijuus chakra aren't depended on RM so the Last and current Naruto can use it in base or any mode.
Sasuke's reserve also increased as he got older, control with the Rinnegan, and skills all increased as well. We can spectulate what Sasuke learned to do but we don't know for sure.
