Kabuto never made a statement claiming that he knew, he only spoke on other peoples opinions. Iruka, Orochimaru, and kabuto all stated that hiruzen "was hailed", "has a reputation", and "was said" to be the strongest hokage and the "god of all shinobi"

To help you with key vocabulary words:

"Hailed" , means to acclaim;

Acclaim means: 1. To praise enthusiastically and often publicly; applaud.
2. To acknowledge or declare with enthusiastic approval: She was acclaimed person of the year.

So hiruzen was praised, , or declared the "god of shinobi" publicly. So everyone knew of his title.


"Reputation", means a favorable and publicly recognized name or standing for merit, achievement, reliability, etc.

With means hiruzen had merit or achievement of being the strongest of the 5 kage during his reign.

Orochimaru and Kabuto both acknowledged hiruzens status as very powerful.

The ONLY reason orochimaru said "He who WAS hailed", is because hiruzen was hailed as a god in his prime. Hiruzen was far from his prime when he fought orochimaru, so it's only right for him to speak of him in past tense. But it was still orochimaru speaking on his past praise non-the-less.

Faster, physically stronger and with much more stamina due to being younger which would allow for many more of the jutsu he was hyped to know. For all we know he had some kind of sage mode I wouldn't put it past him. Keep in mind it was said in his old age hiruzen was the strongest kage. Don't forget about that.

Because legend says that hashirama was the only one during their time who could beat madara. But obviouly edo madara was far stronger than the hashirama of their time.

You make no freaking sense. The reason we Hashirama supporters mention Dan's statement is because you Hiruzen fans seem to think since he was called the "God of shinobi" he can defeat Hashirama. YET, a jounin from Saurotobi's prime with his statement proves, that Hiruzen's hype was less then the Status of Hashirama and Madara's power. Its simple as that. Actually, the legend says noone could beat Hashirama.. not the way you said it. And also, Edo Madara is stronger then the Sage also in "Power". But in a battle you cannot say Edo Madara > Hashirama, while the character himself keeps saying over and over , that Hashirama is capable of stopping him. This is why you fans fail to see the truth , and bash on Hashirama supporters.

yes you have been reading a complete different manga, because first of all i haven't heard anyone by the name of hurizen and second of all the only reason why he gave minato the title of hokage is because he was not on his prime anymore and he knew that the smartest thing to do is to give the title to someone strong who is on their prime like minato, but you guys r just so stupid and still ignore kishi's words he clearly stated on the databook that he was the strongest hokage
