Prime Hiruzen's abilities

This is how I see Prime Hiruzen.

-Taijutsu: At current Gai's level, although no Gates. This is including his speed & reactions; I believe he'd be at Gai's level. His body doesn't seem to be able to handle Gates, even in his Prime.
-Ninjutsu: Mastery of the 5 basic elements, this alone puts ahead of loads of people. Although I seriously doubt he can use the Nara's Shadow Mimic technique or the Akimichi's Multi-Size technique but he probably knows the strengths of weaknesses of each clan's techniques.
-Genjutsu: Better than Kurenai.
-Chakra & Stamina: Definitely more than Jiraiya's chakra reserves, probably a step below Ay's reserves.

Yah, so that's what I think of Prime Hiruzen.

Tobirama would be proud.

5 godly elements without handseals which singlehandly stopped the Buddha Statues attacks while 5 Kage and Ninja Alliance couldn't do anything with their best attacks.

Its nothing new since it was already speculated to a high degree. 5 Basic element jutsu, 5 shadow clones, staff that can break mokuton and shuriken. We still need more.

Prime Hiruzen is simply a 20-30 year old Hiruzen. He is not obviously as strong as your assumption make him out to be.

-More Chakra and stamina.
-More access to techniques.

those kage and Other SA were fighting it as well from the begining. And He countered a tiny buddha that a zetsu created.

Yeah and you know what? The 5 Kage with the whole shinobi world couldn't do anything to it while an Old Hiruzen stopped it by himself.

Taijutsu - Slightly below gai level, With gates, though maybe not 7 and 8 ... If kakashi knows how to open up some, I don't see why the hokage who has 5 in tai and known to learn things won't... He also does Tobirama's little trick, so entering a taijutsu spar with him will result in some exploding tags on your body without your knowledge

Genjutsu, Same level as hashirama, Capable of things like Bringer of Darkness etc

Ninjutsu - Well no need to guess here... Mastery of the ninja elements, able to dish out large scale combination attacks on the battlefield with shadow clones

Fuinjutsu - With a guess, I'd say essentially as good as danzo and a few uzumaki seals

Chakra - In his prime, Wouldn't doubt senju levels, he seems to be a shadow clone fighter as well

Speed - Most likely he was a decent 5, a bit above Kakashi.. He's themed after monkeys after all and Tobirama's nickname for him is Saru , he's supposed to be agile..

Intelligence - We've seen him run in and quickly break down abilities, like many other ninjas, Minato, Kakashi etc... However what would put Hiruzen above them is his experience and knowledge of jutsu and their counters

Strength - 5 , he constantly fought with a staff that's incredibly heavy with no problem in the past ..in old age however he proclaimed he was struggling to hold it up

We've also seen he has Inuzaka / Kakashi Level sense of smell


That's my take on him..
