None of those guys were going all out against him in the fight, Oro refers to how they are "toying" with him, which they obviously are (they stand around, chat, once in a while throw out a tech, and then stand around some more under Oro's control). The reason Hiruzen is able to seal them is that he uses a tech that Oro didn't recognise, and Oro never got serious (because he didn't realise Hiruzen had such a technique, and couldn't conceive how he could beat him).

Let's remember too, that in order to use said tech Hiruzen had to die. What a victory. *eye roll*

Not even close to Hashirama's feat of having a fight to the death with EMS Madara and the 9 Tails (and winning)... notice, he was alive after the fight too.

You're comparing prime Hashirama with ancient Hiruzen. Remember he retired when Minato was young. He was ALREADY feeling too old. Now add around 20 years to that.

Orochimaru had a young, perfect body. Hiruzen was a mess.

I have a thread you should go to which covers Hiruzen (and Hashi) in depth. Age isn't much of an excuse either... Onoki is much older than Hiruzen, and looks a heck of alot more impressive.

Let's get a few things straight:
First- knowledge is power to think otherwise is quite silly really.
Second- Hiruzen beat Hashirama, Tobirama, and Orochimaru at the same time.
Third- Doesn't knowledge,and experience especially together make all the people you listed get to where there at currently?
Final- Power without knowledge is a lot like a child with a gun vs a trained soldier (I wonder why Obito lost to Minato. Could it be that his experience, and knowledge helped him to figure out how to beat a man with so much power?

PS it was my opinion which i clearly stated, and I am entitled to it.

As for the Oro fight, there are threads going over why this isn't a good feat for Hiruzen, several of which I just linked to on the thread asking for people's top 10 shinobi... go read them.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion... it's just when that opinion is uninformed and illogical, we are entitled to judge that opinion (and the person holding it) accordingly. As we are.

I'll assume your addressing this to me, and yes i know what happens when you assume, but since were here already might as well enjoy the ride.

I'm looking forward to reading the "people's top 10 shinobi". I didn't realize that there was a thread about it, but that lack of knowledge hindered my ability to act accordingly.
As far as illogical, and uninformed are concerned i was kind of under the impression this was a hypothetical discussion. I think speculation, and conjecture work better in this situation.

Pretty sure this is gonna get banned. No vs threads homie. That being said I'm rolling with Hiruzen. I feel his experience, and knowledge are more complete than Kakashi's, but that's just an opinion.

Why were versus threads banned? It makes no sense to me... considering this is the versus area of NB.....
