Cause part one said so. people still hold on to that belief despite getting updated information on the other kages. people need to realize Hashirama is the real god of shinobi. Dan, a man who was alive during the time of the third, and not hashirama still stated that only hashirama can beat madara. despite being alive during his hiruzens prime. pretty bold statement especially when you never seen hashirama fight. this is the authors way of letting you know who the real god is. he was only labeled the god of shinobi cause he was the first kage we met, so kishimoto hyped him up. after the updates though, its clear tobirama can stomp hiruzen if he wanted to

Its not speculation. Speculation is people saying Sasuke can now use space time jutsu when it is unclear to anyone what he can actually do because it has yet to be explained. That is speculation.
