This genjutsu works as a distraction, and also as something to hinder the vision of the opponent. If the opponent is unable to figure out that it is a genjutsu and tries to destroy the clones, the jutsu would pass right through and would serve their potential. As a drawback i don't really see what one could be. It seems like a clean and simple genjutsu. Maybe a drawback could be that the clone is limited to bursting into cherry blossoms.

I already did lol

Genjutsu layering allows for the user to use multiple genjutsu's on top of each other, starting from the strongest one, then regressing to the weaker ones. This allows for the user to keep the opponent entrapped in a genjutsu, because after they seemingly break it, they are put into another. When used correctly, the user can dictate the opponents state in real life, by preoccupying them with realistic and difficult to release genjutsus.

Kay Time for you to prove your understanding and impress me with the scroll below.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

This is simple layering two genjutsu in one though its the same genjutsu but two different affect. The scope is to do it in a way that its not too obvious.
