Previous Kyuubi jinchuurikis and the greatest mistake Konoha made.

Now the two previous jinchuuriki for Kurama (ie;Kyuubi-Nine Tails) were Uzumaki Mito and Uzumaki Kushina. I believe they were only used as containers to Kurama and that they never achieved being perfect jinchuuriki or even being able to utilize his powers.

This makes no sense to me considering that the point of having a bijuu was to be able to tame and utilize its powers, so therefore you could have that 'super-weapon' that would make the other villages a little wary of attacking or at least have it at your disposal. You cannot fully use the Kyuubi while in control unless you have a relation with it.

Therefore, the greatest mistake by Konoha was to not establish a relation with the Kyuubi and create a perfect jinchuuriki, also they should have kept another bijuu so as to have two at their disposal like the Hidden Cloud.

Why would they keep two when the kyuubi is the strongest tailed beast no matter what. That's obvious. It's could be six on one kurama will still win.

And what you say about mito and kushina is fail because none of the other villages know what goes on inside another village. The other villages didn't know that the kyuubi jin weren't in full control. They just knew that konoha had the kyuubi and that was enough to make their knees shake. That's all that matters. Who is in possession of which tailed beast.
