Yeah pretty much only point to the flashbacks would be to see Izuna fight.

Hopefully next chapter is groundbreaking, because while last chapter introduced somethings, it was rather boring. Like you said hopefully we see the beginning of Madara's downfall.

I think the reason why Hashirama has those jutsu's at such a higher power is simple he created them..He taught Tsuande medical jutsu with out hands and Oro learned his Gobi tech probably from the third hokage..I mean why not beign the creator of those jutsu be theo ne to have the strongest ones in the series. thats jus my opinion..Hopefully the flashbacks will be done with in the next chapter but it's been intriguing to see these great shinobi's back story even if it's getting a lil long winded it answer's question some might have not known or wanted to know in the manga
