these are my ideas for a naruto mmorpg! if one was to ever come (which should) (its kinda a long read but....thanks!)
first, i would want this game on a console (xbox 360 and ps3) because of the consoles' (imo) better graphics, and overall playability due to its button layout etc. i created this then attempted to view it before i submitted it as a new thread but it logged me out for some reason
background i would want this game to be paralled to the actual narutoverse. what i mean by this is that it is almost a completly new storyline which history is shaped due to the actions of the players of the game! certain things and ideas would obviously still be in the game, but other things wouldn't be (Ex. naruto and other characters dont actually exist in this game). this allows a player(s) to be the best he/she can be without an AI (artificial intelligence) being the #1 in the game.
point/objective well, withouth characters from the narutoverse, who do you fight? whats the point? players would fight each other, villages vs villages, training, and new AI villians to fight throughout missions and battles. i will go deeper throughout these topics....
creation mode players will have to create a shinobi or samurai and will be able to.... 1. create/learn jutsu and jutsu already in the narutoverse 2. total customization of characters and their abilities 3. create-a-clan and possibly a kekki genkai (idk about this one). 4. customize weapons and attributes. 5.. choose an elemental affinity (if you want) and strive to learn more!! also be able to advance and fuse these affinities to create a new on (Ex. wind+water=ice) (bijuus are another factor idk about putting in the game. Maybe achieve one through rank?)
the world there would also be a village/country/land feature.... i would either like it to stay like the narutoverse, then people can just request to be in that certain village. or, make it more flexable and customizable like this.... 1. a group of people coming together will form the lands. the geographical sizes of the lands are determined by the amount of players in a village, and, AI civilians will also be intergrated in established lands to act as the working class (Ex. farmers, builders, shopkeepers). 2. requirments of land- less than 50 players= nomads or tribe, 50 players = 1 city, 5 cities = a village, 10 cities = a country, 15 cities = a great nation. 3. the village layout will be created or chosen by the original founders/leaders of the village and a name for the land will also be chosen by them. also, lands can trade with each other.
ranking 1. ranking will be similar to the narutoverse. start in the academy (depending on age), then become a genin, take exam for chunin, then special jonin, jonin, anbu/anbu black ops (appointed by hokage). 2.the kage or leader of a land is the player with the highest XP points in the nation. a new leader is chosen by the previous leader. either that or anyone who surpasses him/her becomes the new leader. or, to be fair, every kage/leader has only a set amount of time in which he/she can actually be the leader. 3. kage chooses his "right-hand man" and "cabinet," similar to the U.S presidential cabinet. there is also a "congress" of jonin, as in the show (they must agree on a new kage as well). as in naruto, there is also a daimyo/feudal lord in the country as kage is in the village. they have equal power. 4. XP is in the game as well so, you do not have to be a chunin or above to become a kage. the missions, experience, reputation, and battles are factors of your XP.
action/combat 1. battles would be intense! everything from full-fledged wars between nations, to just player(s) vs player(s). there can also be allies between nations, which can also mean a time of peace between all nations (extended alliance). if alliance is not your thing, how about total conquest of othe lands?! conquer territories to add to your own and possibliy coquer every nation
! fights can be fought all over, from the homefronts to the uninhabited lands. 2. wars may also bring destuction of entire lands, (like the uzumaki). 3. the shinobi and samurai may also have special jobs in battle (Ex. medics, scouters, sensors). 4. players can choose similar fighting styles of actual naruto characters or customize their own. choose elements and abilities. 5. generals and commanders of war dictate over squadrons, platoons, military men/women and give orders to these groups. the military is made up of players in the village as well as AI's of the village (the AI's strength is determined by factors like good training, perks, and a strong village). use strategy!.. there is much more to the combat feature, but i'll leave it at that.
life and death this is where sims meets naruto! xd 1. life and death is inevitable, players may die due to battles. in war, each player has 1 (maybe, just maybe 2 or 3 lives) life. this determines through strategy, skill, and strength which nation is really better. it also gives a realistic sense to the game. 2. overall, these ar the consequences of death - death #1-3: no consequence, death #4-6: lose XP points, death #7-9: lose much much more XP, death #10: the players character permanently dies
(Tragic!). 3. population of the nations AI is also determined by factors like bad food harvest, natural disasters, scarcity of needed products, crime, illnesses and natural causes like old age. this may also stay true to players. 4. where ever a player is, once dead he/she respawns in his/her village. if death 10 has came, the character is in the nation's cemetary. i'll leave life and death at this for now.
P.S. there would, ofcourse, be free roam throughout the entire world!
END.
sorry for the long real i had this thought for a while now and decided to post it. i saw similar threads, but none this deep. im just pretty passionate about this idea i guess lol! xd
thanks for reading! (if you read it all lol)give me your feedback!
