Preta path vs. Black orbs?

depends really, it can be argued for both sides, the black orb may destroy the preta barrier that sucks that chakra and simply make preta ineffective or it can go the other way around and preta can absorb the black orbs, in any case, realistically I'd go with preta path.

Beyond flawed... Preta path can't do shit with Shira Tensei which is a Ninjutsu... Omyoudon shouldn't be compared to Preta path Omyoudon was used by the sage elder son which was the eyes... Omyoudon makes any Ninjutsu useless Preta path is Ninjutsu...


Thats first jutsu wasen't Omyoudon if it was Tobirama would be dead... Preta path is Ninjutsu so it automatically falls under Omyoudon... I can think of Ninjutsu that can reck Preta path... Madara's Meteor Shira Tensei Basho tenin etc...

Thing is, they both counter each other.

The Rinnegan came from the Juubi.

Onmyoudon came from the Juubi too.

We honestly can't conclude what'd happen if them two techs went against each other since they're both God-level techniques.

Preta path's power turns any ninjutsu into chakra which is absorbed by the Rinnegan user. Even Naruto's Sage Mode Rasenshuriken's were absorbed meaning it can absorb SM chakra as long as its doesn't overload the SM user and black chakra is sage chakra transformed into yin yang. Perhaps if its too much then it can overload the Preta with its Senjutsu properties and adversely affect the Rinnegan user....

Onmyoudon wins no debate lol

The flaw of preta path is that their is a limit to how much you can intake.

Now that limit does depend on the user itself

(So if nagato was in his prime and wasn't using paths he could of absorbed much more Chakra/senjustu chakra but,since his chakra was divided into 6 his limit was reduced when using the preta path.)

However,we all know the affects of taking into too much natural energy.

The Onmyoudon automatically negates any chakra infused attack.


Now some may say that the Onmyoudon can't resist senjustu but,the fact is both are not immune to its effects.

So neither particularly wins over the other in that respect.

So with all factors accounted for Onmyoudon is the superior overall for defense.

Add in Offense where almost any technique can be cancelled on impact and where death would be certain if it touches human flesh the Onmyoudon also wins in this department.

This is just the statistics.

And if you find one favorable over the other that is fine.

Though,that doesn't change facts.

Hiruzen said something along the lines of the Jutsu working similar to the Jinton, and stated that it was made out of at least four different elemental types. Seeing as the Gakido effortlessly absorbed a Jinton before, I'd put my money on the Path, but the Onmyoudon's ability to nullify every Ninjutsu [Which the Preta Path technically is] is honestly a contradiction.

He showed the similarities they don't actually work the same because one is three elements and one is a mastery of yin and yang.

Chakra is molded out of your spiritual and psychical energy and the Onmyoudon is just that psychical and spiritual energy. The preta path is ninjustu and Onmyoudon negates ninjustu.

This is very simple.
