When a user of preta path absorbs a technique(rasenshuriken for instance), does it add to the users overall chakra supply?

I know they can absorb regular chakra to absorb it as shown here

but would this add to the users storable chakra?

Yeah, you do, cause Nagato got boost from it.

It does since Nagato revitalized himself with Preta on Bee's chakra cloak and Sasuke absorbed chakra from Naruto

Then how did sasuke get the benefit of Kurama's chakra?

It states that for jutsu, nothing about absorbing chakra from someone/thing. Dunno how/why it's different. :|

I think there are 2 ways to use this technique:
1) Absorbing enemy's chakra
2) Nullifuing some jutsus

Sasuke directly went for Kurama's Chakra, or Nagato for B's Chakra. . . unlike when Nagato was blocking/absorbing Naruto and Jiraiya's techniques.

are the techniques not molded form of the users chakra? Could sasuke or nagato, not actively try to absorb the users chakra from that technique?

It states that the chakra disperse around the users body.

So the answer is yes. Also, you should check out the DB four translation.

There would be no difference apart from the quantity of chakra absorbed. It's the same jutsu used for ninjutsu and chakra absorption.

It doesn't increase chakra pool if that's what you're asking, it only restores the chakra the user is lacking

Techniques are ONLY negated when absorbed, no chakra increment. If chakra is specifically absorbed, then it adds to the user's chakra.
