preta path cannot absorb susanoo and amaterasu

i belive susanoo is a aura not a chakra and when bee hit nagato off he absorb bee chakras instantly yet when itachi used susanoo to smack him he didnt absorb nothing and he used shira tensei to deflect amaterasu

preta path would have been much usefull and itachi jab him with totsuka he didnt absorb it so sharingan techs cannot be absorb thats my opinion

I disagree. It says in the databook it's their chakra taking physical form, it's also an explanation why Madara has to keep on switching between susanoo and petra path. Maybe he just used shinra tensei because it was quicker to get rid of amaterasu, if it was in reverse we'd just be having people saying shinra tensei can't block it. On wikia it says Amaterasu is the highest form of fire release technique so it's a ninjutsu, petra path can absorb any ninjutsu it was even able to absorb the oil from Jiraya's jutsu.

The reason Nagato(kabuto) didn't use petra path on Itachi's susanoo was because he was caught off gaurd same with the Toska sword, Itachi didn't attack Nagato directly once in that fight.

According to the databook Susanoo is formed from the user's Chakra, so you're wrong. In theory, it can be absorbed. Totsuka no Tsurugi, however, is a spiritual weapon and not made of Chakra, thus it cannot be absorbed.

As for Amaterasu, who knows. According to ***********'s translation Ae's Raiton would've paralyzed Madara if he tried to absorb the charged water. But I can hardly imagine Nagato/Gakido 'burning' from the inside.

Susanoo is just hardened chakra forming a warrior-like shape around the user (like Naruto's Bijuu Mode). And Amaterasu is like any other Ninjutsu.

It can't for sure the following reasons:

Amatersu is a fire doujstu, jiraiya sealed amatersu with a specific scroll called "highest fire style sealing," meaning it can seal all firestyle regardless of doujustu ninjustu or regular ninjustu.

Preta path can only absorb every ninjustu! Never said anything about doujustu ninjustu

That's why nagato was able to absorb lariat and rasengan so easily but not amatersu.



Susanoo in the databook said it is an astral substance, preta can not grasp that for sure.
