[Discussion] Preta path < Amatertsu

Nagato got hit by Bee's lariat. Even then, he still absorbed Bee's V2 chakra and tossed him aside.

My opinion is that if Amaterasu hits (which it probably will if Preta Path isn't already active), Preta Path would still be able to absorb it but not without taking atleast a bit of damage from the few seconds that it would've been burning the target.

When Kabuto had him use Shinra Tensei on the flames after listening in on Itachi and Naruto's conversation, it was simply that. He just chose to use Shinra Tensei on the flames since it's another way of countering it.

If Amaterasu is a chakra based ninjutsu, then there is no reason for it not to be able to be absorbed. If it were solid, then that would be a different story since no one is exactly sure whether or not it could absorb a solid based technique. There's always people saying yes or no to that topic.

The reason why he didnt absorb it instead of using shinra tensei is because its faster to get it off, im pretty sure Nagato would have done better against that amaterasu if he was in control of his own powers rather than Kabuto

nagato knew it was coming due to his sensory abilities and he was "programmed" if you will to react to all attacks

Edo's aren't allowed to attack eacher shown when the 2nd mizukage wanted to attack the other kages.

well nagato didnt know that itachi would hit him with amaterasu and well he is not fast inaf to counter it, but still one on one he would absorb it beacause hes sensor and can sense it coming.

because absorbing it would do him no good, as edo have infinite chakra ,

and using amaterasu + shinra tensei is a very good combo.

Nagato simply wasn't fast enough to counter the attack, but we can easily assume it could absorb it.

I mean, if Itachi had tried to use it again, I'm pretty sure the counter would be easy.

As you can see here he just absorbs narutos rasengan without giving a ****^^

He got hit by amaterasu for 1 simply reason.He thought itachi was friendly to him and would use amaterasu at naruto or bee.
