Prequel to Naruto good/bad idea?

I was watching episode 247 of Naruto shippuden with Minato and Kushina. I thought it was very interesting to know the story behind them. So i thought about a prequel of their life would be pretty interesting.
Does anyone else think it would be a good idea?

I think it would be good. Especially if they start out WAAAY back and bring it up to Minato's time.

My guess is that we'll get some more flashbacks to clear up all the SO6P stuff anyway

If that is in fact true, that would be pretty cool. Although I really would like to see his full arsenal as Hokage

Yes it would be a really good idea. Something like starting off with the SO6P up to the moment where Naruto is born. That would answer many questions, assumptions and theories.

Prequel about other characters would be good and informative though. Also I feel not enough information is given about Minato or Kushina.

But anime would probably put fillers in which is a no no.
