"Prep Time" excuse used by fanboys.

Setting up Konan's papersuperjutsu, or collecting dna for edo tensei is not same as Madara having ems.

Konan can't use her papresuperjutsu anytime she wishes, same goes for some other jutsu like edo tensei.

I agree on the Konan thing after some thought.

It's true that you have to sacrifice & do all that Edo work before having an Edo at your disposal , but like we saw with Kabuto , he already had his army prepared : Example : When Obito attacked him , he had it ready , when the war started ? he was ready , let's just say he is not leaving home without an Edo prepare .

So in this case Edo Tensai is always ready , as shown in the manga .

They did need a lot of prep time. It was just off screen. Kabuto probably used months to acquire his army.

But yes rasengan requires prep but it take 2 SECONDS OF PREP every jutsu requires prep but when your jutsu takes a few seconds compared to a week needed for edo tensei then it is usable in a fight

But rasengan can never be taken away, when edo tensei's people can be summoned and they'll be out of the edo tensei's user's use forever.
You really can't compare learning rasengan and collecting dna with eachother.

Last I saw, Kabuto used Edo Tensei pretty darn quick When Obito attacked him, unless you are saying that it took Obito a whole week to jump at Kabuto.

Oro used it pretty quickly against the 3rd hokage, unless your saying that Oro and the third were sitting there talking for a whole week.

Kabuto gathered the things he needed for edo tensei and mastered it. Since he has already masterd it and has the bodies he needs, there no "prep time" needed in VS battles.

Naruto already mastered the use of rasengan, so there is no need for "prep time."

I have to disagree. Certain things can be considered prep time. Also area also prohibits some techniques, konans prep jutsu is exclusive to one area and requires months to prepare, which would mean having previous knowledge of the fight in the scenario of the vs threads.

Using Madara and his perfect Susano as an example is pretty weak. Madara himself as he stands as a character now has already aquired his brothers eyes and such. That had nothing to do with what he currently is and his ability to use perfect susano.

He can pull PS anytime he wants as long as he has chakra. Wayy different story to konan and whoever else you might think. Getting eyes to have the ability to use PS is not considered prep time.

Unless a vs thread would imply that this fight did not just happen to occur and was not planned as in both character knew it would happen. Prep time is a factor to consider, and is very logical IMO i think the shoe is on the other foot for people who can't debate around their characters prep jutsu because technically it is prep time.

Konans jutsu is the only thing i consider as prep time in the manga thus far.

When referring to vs battles and certain jutsu, I have noticed that when a fanboy or fapboy cannot argue against the power of FTG, Edo Tensei, Diedara's clay, Sasori's pupptes or Konan's Billion paper bomb jutsu, they then like to throw in the "prep time" argument, trying to suddenly add logic to the scenario. When half the time, the characters will never face eachother in battle.

Its whenever a character is introduced to battle "Prep Time" should already be considered. Thats like saying in a Madara VS that he cant use PS because he first needs prep time by getting his brothers eyes, or that Minato cannot use FTG cuz he needs to prep the seal on kunai. Why cant ppl just consider that the prep time already was made, asd when entering VS threads, "prep time." should not contribute at all.

So by that means, so lets make an scenario, naruto vs sasuke, they start fighting right, there's no clouds whatsoever, sasuke will just pull kirin without prep time? GTFO.

In a 1v1 fight, The other enemy will not give you time to prepare a potential solo technique.

Prep time has to be considered or else it's not a 1v1.

I dont understand the purpose of this thread... If anyone tells you that Minato needs to prepare the seal on his Kunia (Even though he purposely walks around with Kunias with the seals already one them) or that Madara needs to prep his brothers eyes before he can use Perfect Susan'o (Wtf?) then you shouldnt be arguing with that person.

I have learned the long and hard way that one should be extremely careful with who you argue with. Because their is a high possibility that you are wasting your time.
