Well, i start absorbing your wind technique after it is released, therefore you would still have to run 5 meters before you lift your arm, since you said you would lift your arm one meter away from me. I absorb something and release something else from the same hand, and also, even if you did teleport in time my flames would've hit your clone before it explodes. My hand would be protruded outwards while absorbing the wind technique, and since its being absorbed it means that it doesn't have as much power as it would when its first released; so i doubt that it would be able to deal minor cuts all over my body. And as for the angle thing, its kind of hard to explain... You and your clone are, maybe at most, a feet away if you were to be standing next to each other. I would angle my hand slightly to the left or right, whichever direction since you didn't specify which way you ran around your clone. This would allow me to release the flames while maintaining the straight paths it takes, yeah that was probably pretty confusing. And also, i'm pretty sure its metagaming or godmodding, i dont even know what its called, if you start creating a water technique to counter my fire technique, and you started channeling water chakra before you were even signaled that a fire technique was to be released. But w/e, i just want to get to the part where Zeref finds out your Minato o-o
With the water released, it was pretty obvious that it would be capable of overpowering the flames that Zeref released with the use of his opponents techniques. Noticing his opponent closing in the gap of their battle, Zeref continues the flames that he's currently releasing and in one instant, stops the technique all together to create an armor to grow from his skin; a large one that easily tanked his opponents water technique.

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.
Within a few seconds of the water colliding with the armor, which made no noticeable changes to the defenses, Minato would teleport with his other clone, the one to explode. He would've released the armor, up until he sees you disappear in an instant, and in another, appear and explode. The armor allowed him to tank that as well, with relative ease, however, he would release the armor from his body afterwards. He was dumbfounded at the sight of his opponent's clone explode; not that it exploded, but that he was able to teleport in such a way that it would take no less than a blink of an eye. He was minato.

Zeref manipulates his chakra to create one large and pressurized ball of flames, that would explode on contact into a large malestorm of flames, capable of dealing severe, life-threatening burns to anyone caught in it. (Towards you, who would be mid-range, i think o-o)
As the fire is released, Zeref transitions to wind chakra, gathering a large amount and channeling it into one smaller, and compressed ball of wind. This would collide moments after the fire would collide, and the explosion from the wind would cause the flames that would already be around your body to become even stronger.
