Preference - Manga or Anime?

Curious to see what preference the people of NB have when it comes to Manga and Anime.
There are no right or wrong answers here, only opinions.

So, what do you prefer people? Manga or Anime?

Personally, I prefer Anime over Manga, not due to the animation of things, that's easy enough to work with in my head.
But the thing that makes the Anime just that tad bit more interesting for me is that the Manga lacks colour. It's like watching a black and white movie or tv show, you sit there and you can't help but feel a little depressed due to the lack of colour. Everything seems to take on a much darker tone when it's in black and white. A little colour through the Manga would go a long way to keep my interest. The only reasons I ever read Manga are because its ahead of the Anime (If the Anime is still unfinished) and if the Anime only has a few episodes (Eg. To Love-Ru, Rosario+Vampire).

i like reading manga cause i can interpret it myself and can read at my own pace, and can always read what the anime messes up on.

I prefer Anime because of the colour, and it's easier to see on very detailed scenes whereas the manga, not so easy. And some fights are better animated. But I read the manga to see the canon side of things and to get ahead.

I like manga more. Especially since there are more series you can get out of them.

The Anime of Naruto isn't what it used to be. Started with Tendos fight against Kyuubi, the animation was getting worse. I'm thinking up to this day what the animators were thinking about when putting the terribly animated Tendo in a filler scene where he flooded Konoha, was nailed by Kyuubi into the ground and was pinned with his head into a gap of a wall he was repelled into with his own Shinra Tensei.

The drawings of the Manga are always excellent, the atmosphere fits and there aren't annoying filler scenes even within a non-filler episode.

However there are also Mangas which have a great Anime.
