Now, what the current chapter showed?
Gaara took away Naruto from the battlefield.
Hashirama gave away his remaining chakra to Sasuke to beat Madara. (because Sasuke looks similar to Izuna)
But Madara didn't care for Sasuke looking like Izuna, and stabbed through Sasuke's heart.
My Prediction :
It's clear that Naruto is out for a while for a power up (as Kurama explained to Gaara) And hence Naruto will show up with a power up.
Hashirama gave Sasuke his remaining chakra. But it won't take effect until a certain time comes.
Kishi has now set the stage for Sasuke to fight against Madara to his limits. In order to improve his (not yet completely perfected) PS.
And then at some point, Sasuke will be able to use the chakra he got from Hashirama. And Madara will seem to lose against newly improved Sasuke.
This will take several chapters. And in the meanwhile whatever discussion happened between Madara and Zetsu will come in action and Madara will be again OP against Sasuke.
And then Naruto with his power up will show up on the battlefield.
And then their tag-team battle will defeat Madara. This would be like, Naruto's power up will need something from what Sasuke got from Hashirama's chakra and vice versa, in order to beat Madara as a team.
