this is a theory based on speculation and logic for your viewing pleasure . enjoy.
Sasuke and CO. are now currently heading to the land of whirlpools to learn a sealing tech or rather...an unsealing tech! in theory orochimaru could have been researching how to reverse the reaper death seal so that he could use hokages 1-4 as weapons and also unseal the other half of kuramas chakra. (id like to see kishimoto resolve the fact that half of the nine tails chakra is seemingly lost forever)
Also, when suigetsu found that scroll it is implied that its some sort of technique that would give taka enough military power to be able to take control of the war.
well hokages 1-4 and 9 tails chakra seem enough to do just that.
The man who knows everything could be the 1st 3rd or 4th hokages (most likely the 3rd cause he is the one who was to watch over sasuke)
if this were the case imagine the sweet fights for the conclusion, kurama vs evil kurama, naruto vs sasuke, 4th vs kakashi etc.
