[Predictions] Prediction: When Tobi is revealed

First off, I want to explain my thought process on how Tobi will be revealed. We know that Tobi held firm with “I am Madara” until he was certain that others knew about Edo Madara. Even after seeing edo Madara for himself, Tobi hoped that Kabuto would not reveal him to the alliance. But as soon as he got word about it, Tobi admitted he was not Madara and said that he is no one. For this reason, I feel that Tobi will never reveal his total identity until Edo Madara reveals more about him. With that said, here is a portion of my prediction on how he will be revealed, though I do not know what chapter this might relate to:

Note: dashes relate to narration and stars express thoughts rather than statements. Enjoy!

-Edo Madara has been pinned down but not sealed. The intel division and the kages have agreed that he needs to be kept un-sealed for interrogation purposes.-

Tsunade: Its over Madara! You may have the rinnegan, but you are no match for the 5 kages!

Edo Madara: Heh! Don’t you think you’re being overconfident? I still haven’t shown my full potential yet….

Oonoki: Regardless! What are you planning? Who is the masked man and why did he impersonate you?

Edo Madara: Hmm… well as things aren’t going as we planned anyway, perhaps I will let you in on a little of our secret….

Everyone: !!??

Edo Madara: Let’s just say that the one who calls himself Madara IS me….. or more specifically, he was to act as a vessel for MY resurrection.

Raikage: What are you talking about?! Don’t think you can fool us with such nonsen…!!

Edo Madara: It’s the truth! Ever since the moment I lost that battle with Hashirama Senju, I was plotting my revenge…

Gaara: Revenge?! -Gaara thinks back about Sasuke and feels a sudden rush. He starts think there might be some truth to what Madara is saying.- *Just like Sasuke…* (Gaara interrupts Madara) Madara..

Edo Madara: Hmm?

Gaara: You speak of revenge in a very similar fashion to Uchiha Sasuke.

Edo Madara: (puzzled look) *Uchiha…. Sasuke?*

Gaara: Who is it that you seek vengeance upon?

Edo Madara: Hmph. (In an ominous, laughing voice) Well isn’t it obvious?

Everyone: (reacts)

Edo Madara: (close up) THE ENITRE WORLD!!

(Scene ends around page 5 and chapter switched to Naruto vs. Tobi)

(Scene picks back up with Edo Madara and the kages around page 11-12)

Everone: !!

Edo Madara: Ever since the inception of the leaf village, the Uchiha were discriminated against! I fought my whole life, sacrificed my friends and family, for the sole purpose of reversing that balance of power! Eventually, as times changed, even my own clan betrayed me and I was forced to leave the village. Now on my own and with nothing left to loose, I realized I had only one way of re-asserting the Uchiha’s dominance….. I sought out the power of the nine tailed demon fox.

Everone: (reacts)

(Madara continues) At that time it, and all the other biju, walked free about this Earth. No one had ever attempted to tame them before, but I had nothing left to lose. I managed to bend the beast to my will, and with its strength at my side, I challenged Hashirama Senju for leadership over the village.

Tsunade: But you lost that battle for dominance. Did you really survive that battle or not?

Edo Madara: Hrrmph. Perhaps a story for another time…. but for now, all you need to know is that I did survive and ever since that day, my plans have been in motion.

Mizukage: Regardless of how you survived, you still haven’t told us who Tobi actually is!

Edo Madara: Heh. Don’t any of you get it yet? (close up on edo Madara) I don’t even know who he is!

Everyone: !!??

Edo Madara: As I said before, his only purpose was to act as a vessel for my return. More specifically, his soul was placed in my old body for the purpose of preserving it until he gathered enough power to fully restore me.

Oonoki: Impossible! There is no way that even your rinnegan would have that much power!

Edo Madara: ……You don’t seem to understand it, Ryotenbin boy. The Rinnegan may be limited in power when in the body of an uchiha, but in the body of a Senju, it’s power becomes immeasurable!! With it, I can bend reality itself and control life and death! And if I can’t stand on the top of this world, than there is no reason for it to exist! My plan will come to fruition one way or another and all of you will cease to exist!!!

-Madara breaks free from his binding by activating Susanoo and begins to activate an unknown jutsu…-

Read more carefully! I explained that Tobi is a soul inhabiting Madara's old body, and not even Madara knows what soul that is.

I agree that its a little unlikely that they would be able to pin him down, but I think that's the only time he'd reveal anything. I also agree that Edo Madara himself does not know everything about Tobi, I even said that in the prediction! But as I also said, I don't think Tobi would ever fully reveal himself unless someone else (namely Edo Madara) gives a large portion of his secret away.

When I said that Tobi was acting as a "vessel for Madara's resurrection", I meant Tobi's soul was inhabiting Madara's body until he was able to bring Madara's soul back from the pure world and restore his body to its old glory.

Yes, I think that he is a random soul that Madara was able to collect. My theory is that Rinnegan can store souls like how we saw Nagato's restore all the leaf back to life. I think Madara started killing people with the rinnegan and eventually realized he could access the souls of those he killed. So if he killed like 100 people and planned to use one for preserving his body, he might not know which soul he put into his old body.

Now I have no idea how he could have put a new soul into his body if he was already dead, but I left that as a secret in my prediction .

As for why Tobi is doing all this, I've explained that in a previous thread of mine. I think Tobi has lost all memories of his previous life. I think he now has all of Madara's old memories but also knows that he is not the original Madara. Now put yourself in his shoes for a sec. If you are alive but are living a temporary and fake existence, how would you feel? I think his saying he is "no one" and only caring about the moon's eye plan would work well into this theory that not even he remembers who he used to be.

It took me a while to get it to that point. Kishi has the mystery so tangled that its impossible, IMO, to explain everything. Especially in just a few chapters, lol.

It would basically merge, yes. But Madara would have complete control of the body and Tobi's soul would basically be set aside. Keep in mind that I'm adopting ideas from Bleach/ FMA in this. Basically I'm saying that having multiple souls in the body gets you closer to a perfect being (FMA). And once multiple souls reside in the same being (ie Gillian from Bleach) the most dominant soul takes command of the body.
