[Predictions] Prediction: When Tobi is revealed Part 2

Hey everyone! This is Part 2 of my prediction on how Tobi will be revealed! If you have not read Part 1, please do that first! Understanding where I started this prediction will make Part 2 seem a little more understandable!

Anyway, the same rules apply as before, dashes mark narration, stars mark thoughts rather than statements... etc.

Hope you enjoy part two of my first Naruto prediction!

-Author’s Note: Madara has freed himself from the Kage’s grasp… but what jutsu is he about to use?-

Edo Madara: OOOOOOHHHHHAAAA!!!

(close up on Madara weaving signs and straining)

Kabuto (through Muu): Wha…Whats happening?! *I’m losing control of him!*

Edo Madara: GGGGGGRRRRRAAAAAHHHHHH!! (A large aura engulfs Madara as he uses the jutsu).

Oonoki: In….Incredible

Edo Madara: (The jutsu finishes and Madara begins to relax and stretches his arm as if he just got feeling back in it). Ahhhh that feels much better. I finally have full control of my body again.

Gaara: What… What did you just do?

Edo Madara: (Madara exhales and a close-up shot of him is taken) I was finally able to break free from that corrupted Edo Tensei technique.

Mizukage: How…How is that even possible!?

Edo Madara: I used one of the sage’s trademark techniques…. Izanami

Raikage: Izanami? I’ve never heard of such a jutsu.

Edo Madara: Rumor had it that someone containing both the Rinnegan and the body of a Senju could use such a technique. Basically, once you’ve reached that state, the Rinnegan is able to record the souls of everyone you kill. Izanami allows that person to harness the potential of those souls and use them as they see fit.

Kabuto: *Curse him! First Itachi and now Madara, they were both simply too much for me to control. Without them, my options are seriously limited.*

Oonoki: Wait a minute… The masked man essentially said that his plan entailed restoring his body to its previous glory…. Is this how he was going to attain that?

Edo Madara: Hrmph. Essentially, yes. With enough stored souls and a supply of chakra large enough….. The possibilities are endless. Basically my plan was to bring myself back to life in an essentially immortal body. I simply needed more time to prepare for it and the one you know as Tobi was supposed to do that for me.

Mizukage: So that means Tobi is nothing more than a soul you killed and stored in your old body?! If that’s true, then why would he do all this for you? Why would he abide by all your wishes?

Edo Madara: Well at this point, he likely has no memories of his own, but rather a shared copy of my memories. By now, he has surely taken on my will…. Or at least decided that my will is the only path he can follow. But I’m sure that Zetsu informed him that he is not the original me. *Still…. things are definitely not going according to plan. I need to talk to him right away.*

(Madara pauses and quickly jumps to higher ground.) As much as I’d like to continue this pointless battle, I have more pressing issues to attend to.

(Madara summons the 3 legged Rinnegan bird and flys off).

Tsunade: This is not good! He’s probably headed for Naruto and Bee, we have to intercept him!

Oonoki: This is getting more and more unfathomable. We must stop both Madara’s before it’s too late!

(close up on Madara as he flies away) *Heh. That worked out pretty well, but like Wood release, today is the first time I have ever used that technique. I’m just glad that the souls of the troops I killed housed enough power to override edo Tensei. I wonder how far along he actually is with everything.*

(Scene ends around page 7 and it picks back up with Naruto and Bee Vs. the Jins)

(The battle continues with naruto transforming into the fox and fighting the 5 beasts alongside Bee in 8 tails mode)

(Edo Madara descends and gains the attention of Tobi around page 12)

Tobi: Madara! What are you doing here?!

Edo Madara: I came to see the status of our little operation. I was made aware that the Kyuubi was not yet under our control, but you haven’t captured the 8 tails either?

Tobi: Well obviously things aren’t going very smoothly… the 8 and 9 tails are proving to be quite a hassle to deal with.

Edo Madara: I see. (Madara pauses and than starts again) Tobi…

Tobi: Hmm?

Edo Madara: If Muu and I were revived, than Kabuto must have had a pretty grand array of shinobi at his disposal… Did he happen to revive Kin and Gin as well?

Tobi: Heh, sharp as ever I see. Yes, he did in fact revive them and I have already taken care of that much.

Edo Madara: Well if that’s the case, then why are we wasting our time?

(Madara activates wood release and moves toward Bee and Naruto).

Bee (inside hachibi) : Heads up Naruto or your heads gonna roll!

Naruto (inside kyuubi): Whoa!! (Naruto watches as the technique goes right past him) That’s wood release! Is Yamato doing that?

(The scene focuses on Kakashi as he observes the wood release and the Shinobi wielding it)

Kakashi: *That’s… it can’t be??!!* It’s not Yamato that’s doing that Naruto! It’s the real Madara! You’d better watch out!!

(The shot refocuses on Tobi and Madara)

Tobi: *!!!* Since when could you use wood release?!

Edo Madara: Hrmph. It seems Kabuto was aware of the secret’s of the first’s DNA and the sage’s body. He graciously added a portion of the 1st’s DNA to this resurrected body. *That Kabuto thinks he’s so smart….but obviously he’s underestimated how strong I’d actually be.*

Tobi: Heh… well I’m not complaining. At this point, the added help is appreciated.

(The camera refocuses on Bee and Naruto as they quarrel with the other beasts)

Naruto: *!!* Watch out Bee! He’s coming for you!!

(The camera closes up on an image of Bee while inside the Hachibi and the chapter ends)

Not a bad prediction, but I think it will be a discussion between Kakashi and Tobi.

Heh, thank you. It was hard to decide on some of the details but considering I talked about Izanami and things like Madara having never used it or Wood release before today, I thought some people might have problems with my prediction. I felt that I implied some pretty controversial things xd.

Yup. Well Tobi obviously answers to Madara in some way. So if I'm right, or he actually is someone else, he is still Madara's underling.

Not a bad prediction, but I think it will be a discussion between Kakashi and Tobi.

Hmm, what do you mean? You think Tobi will reveal who he is through Kakashi? Rather than Madara spilling the beans to the kages?

True and I see your point....... but I see no other logical explanation at this point.

Everyone out there (including me in some ways) are dead-set on finding out a concrete identity for Tobi. Most hope that he is some other character (like Kagami or Izuna) but I think the longer things go on like this, the less likely he is a separate identity.

Granted, if this is the actual answer for who Tobi is, than 90% of the naruto fanbase will be very pissed off. But considering how much Tobi knows about Madara and how often Kishi has pissed people off lately, I wouldn't discount it completely.

Tobi a random soul Madara killed without whatseover explantation and bye? No. You're giving Loser Edo-Madara too much credit. I don't see him powerful at all, everyone kicks him like a ball.

I'd prefer if Tobi was a new introduced character, or just STILL Madara FFS. Nobody still confirmed that Madara didn't splitted up before death, right?

Wow great point! I forgot he had already seen Madara use wood release! I guess I'd have to change that, but I does kinda still work in the situation. If Naruto saw wood release being used, he might think it was Yamato initially since he was not fighting edo madara at the time. But great great catch! Thanks for pointing it out!

And as I said in part 1, they were holding him but not sealing him. I doubt they'd really be able to hold him well enough to prevent Susanoo. But I guess you're right about him breaking out to easily.... I guess that was my improvised version of "plot no jutsu".

Thank you, I'm glad that one person liked my writing at least.

But in regard to knowing how he knew so much about Itachi, I explained that in a way. I suggested that since Tobi is in Madara's old body, he in fact shares Madara's memories. So he has both Madara's old memories (up until he died) and has added to those by living beyond Madara's death. So basically if he has all Madara's memories and lived incognito for decades after that, he would more than likely know more about Itachi than anyone else.

Heh thank you, I appreciate it. I guess it is more like a theory/ prediction than just a prediction. Some of the details took me a while to decide on, but I thought it came out okay .
