Since the 2nd exam is over, and there won't be a final phase, this is what I predict will happen
1. The reason everyone is becoming friends in the 2nd exam is so that they can team up later to save the sand village
2. At the end of the arc, Gaara will promote the 9 Konoha ninja to Chuunin for their service inn saving the village
3. Fuu will be captured, but she must be kept alive because the Bijuu need to sealed in order from 1-9. Maybe that is why they targeted Gaara at the start of part 2.
4. Wil something happen that gets Neeji promoted to Jounin in this arc? I don't know.
