So in the last chapter it was stated that Naruto and company have 15 minutes to stop Obito before the tree blooms and the Moon's Eye Plan can be activated. Of course there's been speculation as to whether or not Kishimoto will make those 15 minutes actually seem like 15 minutes or if he's gonna pull a "Dragonball Z 5 minutes," but that remains to be seen. Anyway, I don't know if anyone else has already proposed this idea or not, but my prediction for the immediate direction of the story is that the Allied Shinobi Force won't be able to stop Obito from activating the Infinite Tsukuyomi and everyone will fall under his genjutsu. But, even while everyone is under the illusion, Sasuke will break through it with his Sharingan and shatter it, rescuing everyone.
Now I know there will be some of you who will say "SASUKE FANBOY SHUT UP," at this point, but my disclaimer is that I'm not at all a Sasuke fanboy, he's one of my least favorite characters to be honest but I think it makes a lot of sense for a number of reasons. #1, they've built up the Moon's Eye Plan way too much for them to not show what it actually looks like and what it does firsthand. After all the things that have been said about it it would be kind of a cop-out for it to not happen, at least for a little while. #2, Sasuke has been on the battlefield for a good number of chapters now but hasn't exactly done a whole lot save for his big combo attack with Naruto, and this would be an opportunity to give him a big spotlight moment, since Naruto has obviously had a lot of those in this battle so far, and many of the supporting characters have too. Finally, #3, Sasuke may be a self-proclaimed good guy now, but clearly not everyone really believes that his intentions are genuine. Rescuing everyone from the Infinite Tsukuyomi would be a pretty solid way of proving that he's the real deal.
I think it's a plausible scenario.
