I feel like if Sauske where to go to the good side and somehow to gain the Rinnengan Naruto and Sauske would just work together and Naruto would just lend his power out to Sauske. Well it could be that Uzumaki blood is a good enough as a DNA catalyst like the Senju blood to awaken the Rinnegan, and Naruto gives his blood to Sasuke. Meh not really

Hello - Gonna get right to it because I am at work

I mentioned at one point that Naruto will be getting the Rinnegan. Why? Because there has to be a reason behind Nagato being an Uzumaki.

What we know:

We know that an Uchiha needs Senju DNA in order to unlock the Rinnegan

We know that Oro messed around with Senju DNA manipulation.

We know that Uzumaki are able to use the Rinnegan.

Prediction:
I predict Sasuke will join the fight (either for or against). Unlock the Rinnegan right before death, and give it to Naruto.

The thing is, I could see Naruto and Sasuke surviving together if Naruto was a Senju, and it would be the two clans reuniting into a clan like so6p. Since they make the clear distinction though that it is simply a distant relation, apure blood like Sasuke will not survive and sacrifice himself for Naruto's ideals. You don't need Senju DNA to have the rinnegan passed to you, just like kakashi with the sharingan, he's not an uchiha yet he can use it.

But that is half the point. He will be like a perfect Ninja with the eyes. He won't need to be inherently good at Dojitsu, as he will be like the Sage. Some Senju and some Uchiha powers.
