All his experience with shinobi wars/ clan massacre and leaf defect/ akatsuki battles and surveillance lead to this. Furthermore, he keeps talking about illusions of self and how Kabuto is deceiving himself by thinking he can create a new self out of others (Oro's main idea).

I think Itachi is going to use Izanami to show Kabuto his past, who his real parents were and how they were killed. I predict that because there has been a huge emphasis on Oro as a father-figure and mentor to Kabuto, going to the lengths of absorbing his body, possibly still trying to capture Sasuke in the hopes of creating a new self as Oro told/taught him to.

I believe we will find out Oro actually knew kabuto's parents/took part in the planning/execution of their death, hence how he knew he would be a skilled medical ninja. Orochimaru would have then technically stole his identity, and made Kabuto into nothing but a pawn for shinobis.

It's very possible that Orochimaru was the one to ruin his life he has done the same to many others, but that just seems lazy to me. I guess it depends on the powers of Izanami.

however ur theory may be true .
specially kabuto crying , and itachi trying to make him understand his true self aka talk no jutsu are some facts that support ur theory.

Also note Kabuto cries directly after sprouting Oro's snake **** from his chest and hearing Itachi tell him that he cannot become Oro. Interesting.
