So alot people are pissed off that Naruto didn't save Sasuke from his darkness. Their main point is that we have seen 200 chapters where Naruto was begging, screaming and crying for Sasuke and he wouldn't listen but Itachi and Hashirama could do the trick in 5 chapters. But the truth is that there was nothing that Naruto could say or do to save Sasuke from his darkness. Naruto doesn't know why Itachi did what he did and Naruto doesn't know why the village was created in the first place. The only thing he could do is beg, scream and fight Sasuke. And we all know that thats not enough for Sasuke, he needs answers.
The Naruto series lacks good villains in my opion. We have Orochimaru who was a great villain but ''turned good'', We had Nagato that was a good villain up untill he brought everybody back. We have Obito that is a piece of shit (Rin?! realllyyyy) and Madara who is good as a villain in this arc but doesnt have a real connection with the main characters.
So these are my predictions
- There is going to be another arc where Orochimaru is going to be the final villain. I can't believe that some people think that Orochimaru turned good. Orochiramu is lying like a good villain should do!
- The first thing that Orochimaru said when he came back is that he wants Sasuke body. Orochimaru will get Sasuke body some how. This might be how the ''real'' Sasuke dies.
- Naruto will fight Sasuke body/Orochimaru. Meaning orochimaru will use Sasuke's ocular powers to fight Naruto. Just as the frog predicted it.
- Naruto will save Sasuke body from Orochimaru grip.
- Sakura will give up her life to bring Sasuke back.
- Naruto will become Hokage and Sasuke travels the world with Taka .
Again, Orochimaru is not a good guy. On this panel we see that he gives a evil smile, and says that he will join the Hokages+Sasuke force.
Here he saying that he is just going with the flow and waiting for his chance. Remember that Hashirama is not bound to Orochimaru's will. Hashirama will take him out if he would oppose them.
And this is the best part. He never claimed that he wanted to take another path. He is just curious to see what will happen with Sasuke. Because unlike Kabuto, Sasuke choose another path.
Orochimaru always opposed Madara/Obito plan, even back in the days he wanted the Konoha shinobi's to stay alive so that they could fight Akatsuki members. He is helping now for his own gain, not to do the ''right thing''

In this scenario Naruto gets to save Sasuke without a horrible talk no jutsu.
Sasuke choose to redeem him self after getting real answers. Itachi will lives on.
Sakura plays a heroine role.
We get a Naruto vs Sasuke fight, a real fight to death. Without making Sasuke flipflop even more.
Orochimaru stays the best Naruto villain.
Naruto met the goals he set for himself and can become hokage.
