Pre-Rinnengan Tobi>Nagato, but Pain>Pre-Rinnengan Tobi

I never understand why Nagato is so overrated. We're talking about someone who couldn't even move on his own when he was alive(Hanzo destroyed his feets). I don't see how he can defeat Tobi who can appear from no where and suck him into another dimension quickly. Even for Minato(the fastest ninja in NU) couldn't do nothing else than using FTG instantanly when he was about to get warped in Tobi's dimension. So i don't see what Nagato who is not even capable to move could do in this situation

All his techniques will be uneffectiv against Tobi since none of his techniques could force Tobi to stay in ghost mode during 5minutes(and that is when i don't include Izanagi). Even Chibaku Tensei would be a useless waste of chakra

Tobi is simply a bad match-up for Nagato. I don't see how he will win. Pain will win though. Cuz Pain is 6bodies who could attack with great timing and combination, so Tobi who is better in 1vs1, it would be difficult to fight all of them. In the contrary of Nagato they can move on their own without problems and with Rinnengan share vision, difficult to touch. Pain is also invincible since even if they get killed, they could be revived in the contrary of Nagato(if he gets killed, he gets killed, so over). That's why i say sometimes that Pain is better in a fight than Nagato himself even if he's not complete like Nagato

So Pre-Rinnengan Tobi>Nagato but Pain>Tobi

He even said after that he doesn't like Edo tensei cuz it force you to fight an opponent when you don't like it. It's completly a different story than when he fought Pain and was serious from the begin to the end

So yes, i believe Pain is better than Nagato in a fight even if Nagato is stronger than Pain in terms of power

Tobi (with Rinnegan and Bijuu) is on a higher tier than Nagato, since he can casually throw around map altering techniques.

Tobi (before Rinnegan and Bijuu) is on the same tier as Nagato, top tier. The victor would be decided by circumstance (Knowledge and Plot). I'm not sure what the plot circumstance would be and who has greater knowledge, so I'd say it could go ether way.
