I've been reading the news lately and everyday most of it is negative; murders, corruption, assault, war, death.
I recently finished watching Death Note last summer and it opened my eyes to how wrong the world is.
If we had a death note in the right hands we could have:
Pros:
Elimination of...
-Crime
-War
-Injustice
-Tyranny
-& Worldwide safety from degeneracy
-And more I could not hope to fill in a single list
Cons
-"Fear" of a dictatorship
-New World Order
-Unpredictability
Now, as I see it clearly the pros outweigh the cons. Most of the people would obviously support it. Yes, it goes against the Constitution in many countries but how many of the justice systems in the world actually work? If you murder someone and get a life sentence, you're guaranteed 3 square meals a day, free healthcare, free internet access, free access to gym equipment with yard time to stretch your legs, and free cable TV. All this for the rest of your life. Is this justice?
Yes, Kira claimed to become "God" and was condemned but how is this from the God in every major religion who imposes eternal punishment on the evil and guards the good. He's simply starting this process early. Isn't that for the best?
Although I've heard that some disagree (or agree?) so I would welcome everyone opinion.
