madara is only here because of edo tensei, if he hadnt been here the war would be over

Idiot! The main reason why Madara is here is BECAUSE of the edo tensei jutsu! On top of that, it was used in the invasion of konoha and by Kabuto in the 4th shinobi war and lead to thousands of deaths. The bad far outweighs the good. What makes it so bad is that Tobirama probably experimented on countless humans to create the jutsu.(which is probably why Orochimaru respected him the most out of all the hokages.)

They wouldn't be necessary if edo-tensei hadn't happened. Without Edo-tensei the war would have been Obito, Zetsu, SM Kabuto and the Gedo Mazo vs the Shinobi Alliance.
Those are odds the SA could have taken handily.

and Madara would have long been sealed if Naruto and Minato let Sasuke or Kakashi kill Obito, the war would have ended or there would have been no war, if Minato had killed Obito once and for all during the kyuubi's attack..

It's not the sole reason, just the main cause of trouble for the Shinobi Alliance.

1. Edo Tensei provided most of the backbone for Obito's army. By the end of the first day Each side had lost about half its members but Zetsu fodders were being killed off at a far larger rate than Edo Tensei's were. There was only about 20 to 30 Edo Tensei's and many of them survived until Itachi undid the jutsu. Meaning they were causing substantial damage on the battlefield.
2. Tobirama wasn't secretive enough with the technique to assure Orochimaru and more importantly Madara didn't know the handseals and how to free oneself.

5. Kin Gin Bros. This is where Obito got the nine tails chakra from, and thus could form the juubi
Ergo the biggest threat the SA faced was 7 bijuus, and a MS/Rinnegan Obito. The SA would have gang banged that, and put an end to this war.
