Power scaling in the Boruto Manga

Before I ask the question, if I told you that one day a kid would unlock Sage Mode without giving the details, what would you say?

Anyway, if Mitsuki had the potential thanks to Orochimaru to spawn Sage Mode from his person (I don't think he even gathered Senjutsu? Unless he did but doesn't realize it, or it's something Orochimaru messed with thanks to his genetics). Either way, the Boruto Manga didn't even start yet, and it's a monthly series.

So far the scans have shown that the it will retell the story on the Movie, in Ukyo's perspective. It might be more similar to the Novel than the actual script he worked with Kishimoto on. Anyway, if Mitsuki already has unlocked Sage Mode, I feel like the power scaling might be even more broken. It doesn't have to do with characters catching up with him, hell it could even be just about him at this point. Still I do think there's a need to really question Kishimoto's entire stance on it since he can't control it yet, and has a limit on the ability like Minato.

It doesn't change that the ability itself will be whole like the Moon. I feel like more BS is gonna happen, not right away of course, but it will. I don't think one chapter is enough to retell the events in the Movie, so the actual story might not start for a while.

And what do you think might happen in terms of abilities from the kids as they continue to grow, and the enemies they have to face. Abilities grow in contrast with threats that arrive. Not to mention potential.

Sarada is already on early Part 2 Sakura's Level :lol,
while Boruto can change the Rasengan's chakra nature without even realizing lmao.

Speaking about enemy, currently the most dangerous and mysterious enemy could be Otsutsuki. But I think they will not come down /visit earth very early in the series.

The NV earth is massive and holds many danger/enemy possibilities. We dont know from where the threats will come from. Writer can just created very powerful Shinobi if not on par with Naruto or Sasuke but on par with other Kages.

Its very difficult right now if we want to talk about threats/enemies.

For power scaling or power up. I think new gen will be in similar situtaion and condition like previous generation back in the day. They will developing their potential from ground up. No exception here.

That being said they will not be like Sasuke or Naruto bcus this two people were special but its the chance for us to witness the main Shinobi that developed their self not bcus of destiny/fate but bcus they are Shinobi.

It's only SM and no/not many hax abils have been shown to go with it? Madara had a body that went missing etc. Mitsukis power-up could've been much bigger. Jugo's clan have a way to instantly go into their own kinda SM btw so that could explain it.

About the enemies I am satisfied by ansatsuken answer

While about powerup any thing is possible for mitsuki as we see he oro's experiment
The thing I don't get it that how sarada and baruto gonna keep up with mitsuki I mean baruto doesn't have kyubi powers while I don't think their is any way sarada can obtain EMS thus at best they can surpass jiraya and tsunade
But for the sake of plot some powerup are gonna pop-up from nowhere I am sure about that

I feel the same way. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Sarada starts spamming Amaterasu on her roast beef because Sakura under-cooked it :lol

It is like a story without it's soul...

I bet the last piece of Naruto - "Mitsuki one shot" should be the last note from the author about the last "hopeless evil" turns good and the true peace of Naruto has already achieved.

Sarada could inherit 5 nature affinities since he father has them. She will definitely awakens MS without blindness because either 1) her chakra comes from a Rinnegan user like Indra's or 2) because she unlocks the Byakogou.


Boruto learns FTG, develops raiton cloak, masters Kaiten and vacuum palm. To add to that he unlocks a bubble cloak from inheriting the genes of an RSM user

Himawari learns Sage Mode, masters Gentle Fist, befriends the 9 bijuu and inherits Naruto's healing feats and possibly Mokuton
