POWER - Genesis (Chapter 1)
Sorry i forgot to put Fanfic on the title
Regis, a land full of life, death, happiness, sadness, joy, sorrow, Good and Evil. like many a land, a Kingdom stood, and where a Kingdom stood, a castle lay, and where a castle lay, a King would sit. Following the king, would be his people, and from his people, an Army. This army consisted of Two sets of people. The Generals, and the Soldiers. The Soldiers were ordinary men, who were skilled in many a weapons, ranging from Ranged to Close, and eventually, to death. now the generals were different. Raised as Generals from birth because of specific traits found in them that produced a wondrous and skillful group of Warriors. Mainly trained to command, but would also lead the charges when engaging in battle. These people were known as The Guardians.
Life in Regis was good, people lived life in security, in happiness, in the safety of The Guardians. but then, a tragedy had hit the kingdom to the core, the King was found in his living quarters on the brink of death. leading up the the living quarters, a trail of soldiers, and with them, descending down the stairways, a river of blood.
In the kings last moments, he spoke words that would change everything, “A Guardian Did This To Me”, and before he could say anymore, he died, in the arms of his son, who was himself, being trained to become a Guardian until his time to become King would come, but as it were now, he would be thrust into his Kingly Position much sooner.
An order was issued, to have all the Guardians to be brought in and questioned in the evening.
The Guardians presented themselves in the King's court. “As you know, my father has been killed, murdered, betrayed, by his own, chosen by his Father from birth, my Grandfather, to serve the late King Theodore Porter without question, without hesitation, without thought for self preservation, and all my father had to say for this was A Guardian Did this to me.” pacing around the Guardians Kneeling towards the throne. “now what do you have to say for this?”, the room stayed silent, “Aryn!!!.........What do you have to say for your comrades, for your fellow Guardians, what do you have to say for this?”, in a soft, but stern voice, Aryn replied “my condolences to you and the royal family, but whoever did this, it was not any of my people........we will find out who did this, and make them pay for their crime”, “oh, i know who did this, it was you, it was all of you. except for the two that brought me this information.” Startled, Aryn says in a confronted voice, “WHAT!!!.............What are you talking about?”, “Henrietta and I could not hold it back any longer, the meetings, the conspiracy” Justus turns to the the King, “My king, Kill these traitors before they try to scheme up a way to kill you and overturn the kingdom”, Lightning begins to flash, thunder begins to crash around the Castle.
“you lying piece of SHIT!!! i’ll rip out your poisonous tongue, and shove it up your arse if its the last thing i do”, Aryn grabs Tuuk as he the others start to run “Tuuk, if we do anything now, we would make it seem as if we really did kill the King. we have been cornered, there’s nothing that we can do right now, we need to think. and act when the time is right”
The lightning settles as the pair make their leave. “What are you lot waiting for, get them, don’t let them escape” the soldiers begin chasing after them, some with hesitation as they try to understand the situation, chasing their generals for killing the king, and others with no remorse because of their dislike of the generals. a trail of smoke appears heading towards the main gate with soldiers rushing behind it. In frustration, and anger, Justus paces along the balcony watching the smoke move further and further away, “Sir, we just received word from the pursuers, they have exited the city”, “Release the Beast”
A shocked expression is thrusted upon the Kings face as an enormous shadow encompassess the city, moving towards the edge of the city, blocking the light of the moon. Shivers and cold winds begin to crawl up the spines of the onlookers. This beast with wings enormous enough to put at least 50 acres of forest out of fire with a few flaps of its wings. a Beast to be feared for sure.
As the Guardians are running, they notice that Aryn has stopped. they stop “Aryn, what are you doing? hurry up before that thing catches up” Tuuk says as he runs back to bring Aryn back with the group, but as Tuuk makes his way, a bunch of boulders, trees, rubble, and other sedimentary objects block his way. “Tuuk, will you promise me one thing, will all of you promise me one thing?”, “Shut up and get over here, we don’t have time for this!!”, Tuuk says in an angry, and worrisome tone, “Take care of my son, my wife, Train them and keep them safe, go to the Hidden Fort on the border, i have already made the preparations for this kind of situation. the Kings brother will aid you and the next line of Guardians”.
“No Aryn, get over here, You promised me we would raise our boys together, noooo, you PROMISED!!!!” Screamed Mel as Tuuk grabbed her and the boys and made a run with the rest of the group. the last few moments, glimpses of Aryn were seen by the two boys, and their mother.
No one was able to see what happened to Aryn and the Beast, only the dust, and smoke rising from the area looking from the borderline Hills. Tears were shed as they made their way to begin their life, a new life

this story, in summary, is about redemption, justice, loyalty, and most of all, payback with a good kick in the arse................... now i’m not totally able to do this on my own, and am wanting to see if anyone else would like to help me in this series. such as coming up with ideas, backing stories for new characters and stuff, names for lands, valleys, and such, you get the jist of it.
