Judging from the reactions i read here and elsewhere a good portion of the fanbase believes that by the end of the manga the power levels got to high, so i have 2 questions.

1. When do you believe the power levels jumped the shark
2. What level of power do you think should of been the cap off point.

Power levels spiked when part 2 started. When I saw the first villain (Deidara) has a move to blow up and entire village I knew what we were in for.

I think everyone agrees that war arc(starting with edo tensei) really screwed up the power levels. In my opinion, madara (pre sage of six paths) should have been the cap for how strong a person can be with regular powers.

When Kishi got the scouter upside down & thought it was a power level of 1006

1. When Madara became Juubi Jin and Naruto and Sasuke received Rikodou power ups.

2. Before Naruto and Sasuke received Rikodou powers and Madara became Juubi Jin. Because at this point, power levels got insane and things got complicated.

Whenever Madara started casually dropping meteors. For him to do it so leisurely is when I knew the power scaling in this manga was about to spike. The minute Madara was introduced, the power scale kept going up bit by bit to match his growing strength. It started getting bothersome once Obito was Juubi Jin for a while.

Itachi using Susanoo was the beginning, it was a snowball effect from there. Madara's revival took it too far, he owned the entire shinobi alliance on some DBZ shit.

2 rinnegan SM madara no juubi's should have been the highest form we should see. Kishi's should have shown him using susanoo + Mokuton jutsus against BSM Naruto and EMS sasuke (but sasuke and naruto would be enhanced a bit to match madara) not some godly power no one could comprehend

Which can be stopped with a lighting jutsu like sasuke or by blocking it as garra did. It wasn't that op.
Also a demon that can heal any wound, and a genjutsu that can torture you for a veeerrryyy long 3 days in an instant and keep you trapped in it for a month was more op then that bomb.

The power went over the top with hagoromo power ups and kaguya, before then ems and bijuu were still op but hey they were established since the begining.

Yeah, after the Juubi got extracted from Obito, Madara should have gained back both his Rinnegan on top of Hashi's SM, Mokuton and his own EMS powers. They were OP enough. The Juubi should've never belonged to a Jinchuuriki, Kishi should put some restriction that the powers of the Juubi's eyes couldn't be used if it was inside a jinchuuriki. So Obito could've used it for its powers but Madara wouldn't have become its jinchuuriki because of casting IT.

For me also Madara and Sasuke were to have only the EMS, and Naruto only Kyuubi mode.

No juubi jin, no aliens,no Rikudou chakra, no shits.
