Chapter 5: Curse
"Where...where am I..." Mangekyo said. As he looked around he realized that he was somewhere he's never seen, It appeared to be a white empty void of nothingness. *Hello young one* an ominous voice pierced through the void seemingly coming from everywhere. "Who are you..." Mangekyo asked. *I am Power and I am a part of you* *It feels cold here* Mangekyo thought. *Do I frighten you child?* Suddenly the void turned black & Mangekyo Screamed!!!
Mangekyo then woke up in a bed "...It was... a bad dream..." Mangekyo said. "You finally up kid, you've been asleep for a few days" A familiar voice said from the other side of a white curtain. Mangekyo pulled the curtain aside "You're Kai...So everything... wasn't a dream... My father... My friend..." Mangekyo said barely able to bring the words together. "Kid... Life's hard... Sometimes bad things just happen..." Kai said "Grownups always say things like that... It doesn't fix anything... It's just an excuse" Mangekyo said. *Kai sighed* "Look... Do you still want to learn ninjutsu or are you just going to give up on your life" Kai said "No...I still want to learn..." Mangekyo said with a depressed look on his face. "Hey! Shoto I think he's ready for you." Kai yelled. "Boy, pull yourself together & meet me outside. I'm going to start your training immediately" Shoto said as he left down the hall before even entering the room.
Mangekyo made his way outside & when he opened the hospital door he saw hundreds of people who appeared battle ready. "Boy, grab that Bokken & defend yourself" Shoto said as he charged the boy. "Do you mean this wooden sword?" Mangekyo said as he grabbed the hilt. As soon as he grabbed it Shoto knocked it out of his hand. "You need to hold your blade better then that boy" Shoto said as he laughed. "Why do I need a blade anyway... I wanted to learn ninjutsu" Mangekyo asked. "Foolish boy" Shoto said as he charged Mangekyo once again. Mangekyo rolled on the ground, grabbed the wooden sword & blocked Shoto's strike. "How do you plan to fight a samurai without a sword, at the very least you need a sword to defend yourself... Or you'll end up in a hospital bed, like that fool Kai" Shoto explained. "Take some time to practice on that dummy boy, I have some thing I need to talk to you about" Shoto said as he sat down on a bench.
"Have you ever been told about that mark on the back of your neck?" Shoto asked "My father said that it was a gift from my mother" Mangekyo said. "...That's a Curse Mark boy... From what I can tell it prevents you from using the full power of your eyes..." Shoto explained "...Everybody is saying that they want my eyes power, but I'm not quite sure what that means... Everything is happening because of me... My father's death is my fault" Mangekyo said as he struck the straw dummy with his Bokken. "...Your eyes have extreme power & from the looks of the seal your mother used, if you ever become strong enough to use your eyes the seal will be fully removed..." Shoto said Mangekyo then struck the dummy cutting right through it "From the looks of things the seal is starting to weaken... Shoto said as he smiled. An exhausted Mangekyo looked up & his eyes were changed, he had unlocked his Sharingan. "One tome is a good improvement, but you still have a long way to go" Shoto said. "I feel different... somehow stronger..." Mangekyo said. "Boy... I forbid you from taking part in battle until you can fully control your Sharingan... I cant risk you dieing right now... I'll train you & when you are ready you will know the thrill of battle" Shoto says while smiling.
End of Part 1
4 years later...
"My first battle... This is what I've waited for... I'm ready" Mangekyo said as he stared out to a field of one thousand Samurai.
"Ready yourselves men, They will not take this border. We will stand our ground & when our feet fail us, we will crawl to victory & if our bodies fail we will drag the enemy to hell with us... Charge!!!" ~ Shotokan Kage at the first battle of what would become known as the Iron Shadow War.

After bring Mangekyo to the Resistance he once again vanished
Emperor of the Seven Blades: Hozuki Koto (A.K.A. Dietrich)
During his reign the young emperor has worked on expanded his countries borders & has defeated many countries & left countless bodies in his wake. This has earned him the nickname "The God of Blood & Death" in other countries. Currently he is 17 years old
"Second Blade"
Mairai was demoted from this position when he failed the Emperor on an important mission.
