Are the tailed beasts equally as powerful as each other? Because, from what Gyuki said it seems that the number of tails does not rank how powerful they are, but Kurama's tailed beast bomb(at half power maybe, he did only have yang chakra) was as powerful as the tailed beast bomb of Matabi to Chomei put together. So, I'm wondering if the number of tails actually does designate how powerful they are.

We have to assume this, because over a dispute from the Hachibi and Kyubi, Kurama said in a high-and-mighty tone "I'm stronger than you so you better shut up!"

To have the Kyubi do so much damage undeterred while the Ichibi was stopped by a mere frog summon, I'm staking my claim that each tail progression is logarithmic in strength.

I believe they are stronger by the number of tails, but it also depends on the host.

i think the number of tails do affect the bijuu's power, I think it is like an exponential function how they work.
