Power development

So the likes of Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto og Kakashi have had serious fights througout the years, this is well documented. Thus they have "honed" there skill and become more powerfull, that makes sense. The classic saying is, "It's only in true battle that one learns and develops power" right?

Ex: The legendary sennin got there name beacause they where so fierce in battle. And they went through war and hell, thus becoming powerfull.
This goes for almost every strong character in the manga, they have alot of experience in battle.

Then how come other characters that we know for sure have NOT been in tons of serious fights and NOT been through hell and back have such inreased powers? Just so they can keep up with other characters that actually have legit powerups? I call Kishi-asspull on this.

Take Sakura for ex, she has been a fodder throughout the manga, bearly seeing any action and not even doing much healing. Then suddenly she is at Tsunade level??!! WTF. Tsunade has 40 years of HARD experience behind her, and she is the granddaughter of Hashirama himself. How can Kishi seriously expect us to think his manga is any good if he keeps pulling shit out of his ass like this?

She didn't have a damn thing to do with Kankuro but saved his ass.

If a legendary Ninja can't train one student...then... If you want to look at it this way, how far along did tiny Naruto get with his initial training with the Jman? And they are both bone heads, neither tsunade or sakura are dull as rocks. She advanced her healing and her strength...thats it. Everyone else is progressing as per usual for someone in this line of work.

What bothers me boss characters showing up just stronger than anyone else around them, and no back story or mention of said character until he arrives on the scene... lack of proper foreshadowing is by far worse than what you are claiming.
