Potential reason why the "fastest" ninja weren't the strongest?

Think i have found the reason why the "fastest" fighter isn't always the best fighter..... Despite having the speed.

And those who are experienced high teir fighters can deal with those with speeds faster than them... And here is why:

didnt read.. but "fastest" ninjas were never strongest ones... they just have upper hand agaisnt less skilled ninjas.. ( anybody rank S + is not being beated by mere speed feat WITHOUT _plot_ that's a fact.

Speed needs the reflexes to support it. Without it, it doesn't matter how fast you are.

We've already seen this happen with Minato against Juubito and Madara. Minato is considered to be faster yet both Juubito and Madara countered him easily.

Same goes for Kaguya and Sasuke when they try to teleport at Naruto.

Obito is technically the fastest Naruto character with Kamui, as he can teleport to anywhere he wishes without seals...

So basically reflex is not very effective unless you have the speed to back it up. But most speedstars posses good reflex for granted, and they have the best reflex in their respective story. A speedstar naturally has superior reflex, otherwise he/she would smash his/her own head on a wall/tree while running

Not really lol. You can be quite slow, and have superior reflexes to someone who is fast. Reflexes are about reaction time.

Also Reflex without speed isn't useless, just in the scenario you suggested.
