potential reason for Shinobi WW1?

I think it had something to do with Hashirama's death. Because after him the world really was unstable. I mean he is basically the creator of the modern ninja world... and only person that could tailed beasts like pets.. So with that person gone. There was nothing to keep the other countries in check. And from there they all started to make wars for tailed beasts and territory. X_X.

So I'm saying Hashirama's death might has set off the World war 1 of Naruto.
