I'll have to respectfully disagree.

Kishimoto has added new emphasis to the elder and younger son parallel. Based on that I'm now questioning whether or not Sasuke will obtain the Rinnegan/Mokuton. Kishimoto had many believing that Naruto would be the reincarnation of the Sage, but instead we've learned that he is the reincarnation of Ashura (the younger son).

I believe that Kishimoto may have simply misdirected readers with Kabuto pumping Hashirama cells into Sasuke. It could be that Kabuto is somehow using those cells strictly as a means of healing Sasuke.

If that happens, I wouldn't mind it.

But... that isn't possible. Unless the DNA that Kabuto is giving him turns out to be different, the harnessing of Itachi's Douryoku is out of the question entirely. The only Mangekyou technique Sasuke will rely on will be his Perfect Susano'o. I wouldn't mind what you put forth, but it's not happening at all due to the route that Kishimoto is taking with Sasuke. He's breaking his own parallel with Eye/Body parallel, so it has to be re-established in some way, while mirroring brothers once more, and I believe they will now mirror Hagoromo and his brother (and given that Sasuke parallels Madara and Madara parallels Hagoromo's brother, it sets it up perfectly) and become the most powerful in the history of Shinobi (yes, even more so than Hagoromo).​

I was referencing if Sasuke gained the Rinnegan. In order to utilize that, he needs to have his EMS active. With the Rinnegan, we've only seen Susano'o used while it's active, and that's due to it emanating through the users own chakra, rather than emanating from the actual eyes.

As long as Sasuke doesn't break the parallel, yes. But if he does, then yes, Naruto should get the Rinnegan to contrast the acquisition of the Senju DNA in Sasuke's case.

Sauce & Naruto will lose, again, to Madara. Madara will be absorbed by the tree and die. Orochimaru may take the fruit and then need to be defeated.

TL;DR: Kishimoto had a really, really bad identity disorder due to complex mommy and daddy issues and the manga is his way of dealing with being torn between his mum's traditional Shinto roots and the Buddhist nature of his distant father figure's philosophies.

It's merely my own interpretation, so it doesn't mean it will undoubtedly hold true, just I can see it happening if the fight between the Juubi and the brothers were to play out once more. The power of just the Rikudou brother due (Indra and Ashura) is not enough to take down the Juubi in my most humble opinion. Naruto and Sasuke must transcend the parallels put forth in front of them and become demi-gods to finally rid the world of the existence of the Juubi.​

You know what you say does make sense but at the end of the day a very important part about the story's developement is how well something is accepted by the audience. Kishi choosing to give to both Naruto and Sasuke the rinnegan can be a very dangerous choice considering that you can't know the possible reactions. I mean, for example, do you imagine a final battle in which both will spam rinnegan techniques?!
