Not really. Charter/Time Warner(the company I use) offers internet pretty cheap when you bundle it with TV, which is what my family does. And here they provide excellent service and have given like 3 or 4 free speed upgrades(to everyone, not just my house or anything, lol). My entire family of 6 all use the internet so it's well worth it to have great speeds, regardless.

are you american? because in england the average maximum internet speed is about 12 mbps
