You can switch to windows hidden under other windows quite easily, you can launch any program, script, document etc just by typing it's name, you can view all of your workspaces and easily switch to the one you want, and you have a quick launch bar. There are other things you can add to it as well. Aside from those features, you can assign a hotkey to bring it up, rather than dragging the mouse all the way to the top left corner. Dedicated to switching windows? It's no wonder you're still a Linux noob.

I use Linux to do things, not do Linux. >_> I'd rather have shit work out of the box.

Well, I figured if I'm too lazy to edit some css files and change my color scheme, I would just change my wallpaper to match my color scheme.

So, I finally decided to install gnome3 on my fileserver/primary desktop. I guess it's looking alright with a few hours of customization.
