Damn, and I thought Ubuntu was awesome.
Well if it wasn't for the console, I would have permanently switched to Linux.
I've had Ubuntu for 2 days but I removed it because apparently I had a problem, and couldn't run bins\'s even with the console.

Gentoo or Debian are the way to go. You can compile it from source. Ubuntu is just an image. If you ever need help installing or anything just let me know.

Nah booting ubuntu went smoothly.
But the only versions I found on torrents are KNOPPIX V6 0 , Kubuntu 8 10 desktop i386, mandriva linux one 2009 KDE4, mythbuntu-8.10-desktop, Open Solaris 2008 11, ubuntu-8.10-server-i386 & ubuntu-8.04-desktop-i386 D:
I can't come across Gentoo or Debian. ;/
