[Predictions] Post-Skip Blackbeard

I've just been wondering - what's the general consensus on BB's power post-skip? I'm sure he'll probably have at least Busoshoku Haki, but we know that he's been going around gathering Devil Fruit powers. It just makes me wonder how powerful he'll be next time we see him - I don't know how it'll work if he picks up any Logia fruits, so he'll probably just grab a bunch of Paramecia ones. A Zoan BB would be weird.

What do you think BB will be like next time we see him?

Probably? It's literally impossible for him not to have CoA. At this current moment and how early the story is, I think BB is the weakest yonko atm. Judging by the den den mushi of his, I'm liking his post-TS design.

I expect cool DF abilities for his crew since he did go DF hunting over the TS.

I'm sure he has Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki down to a tee. Maybe on the same level as Luffys. But because of his devil fruits this puts him on par with the weaker top tier fighters such as Marco or Ben Beckmann. He's not quite able to defeat an Admiral, but in my opinion that time isn't far away. He's still the weakest Yonko imho

I think BB is hunting down Marco to get his phoenix fruit to make up for the fact the Yami Yami no Mi cannot avoid attacks like other Logias

I also wouldn't be surprised if he had Haoshoku Haki

Wouldn't it be badass if Shilliew had Jozu's fruit now/in future?

Yeah, he's probably the weakest Yonko from what we've seen. He didn't want to fight Shanks, after all, even when his whole crew was there with him. Over the skip, he'll probably have gotten stronger - I'd like to see Kaidou and Big Mom before making any assumptions about where he stands compared to the two of them, but considering how terrified Caesar is of Big Mom and how Doflamingo would rather fight the Admirals than Kaidou, it's safe to say they're going to be ridiculous.

Maybe, but I think it'd be weird if he were able to face Shanks sans-DF without some kind of haki or enhancement. Maybe that just speaks miles about his skill, but Shanks is a Yonko, and one of the strongest characters we've seen so far. Yeah, he's probably the weakest Yonko from what we've seen. He didn't want to fight Shanks, after all, even when his whole crew was there with him. My biggest problem with BB is he acts like he's some straight up goon, but when danger comes he's crying like a little girl(WB, Magellan I'm sure there's other times too I can't remember right now) The feeling I've got from BB so far is he's not much more than a scavenger who keeps finding great prizes(Yami Yami, Gura Gura, Jesus Burgess, Impel Down crew etc.) He's very opportunistic but I get the feeling he's afraid to lay his life on the line unlike Luffy or Roger or Shanks or other real big shots in OP Verse.

that is because BB is just like luffy a growing pirate all the others hit thier prime while bb is starting to build his empire he is not that genric antagonist who start as strong one so of course he would get his ass kicked.

Blackbeard obviously but Im thinking mid-high diff. DD is cunning and so is his fruit and with his speed, it would probably take a direct blow from Teach's Gura Gura to put down Doffy.

Yeah the Blackbeard thing is hard to pinpoint for me. His first intro, I'm sure I was like everyone thinking he's a cool dude and him and Luffy will be friends, is the biggest trip up point for me I think. The only real reason he's even considered a villain really is because we all love Luffy and BB screwed Luffy over hard, turning in Ace wasn't that shitty of a thing to do in and of itself and is by no means the worst thing an antagonist in this series has done, but because of what it put Luffy through it seems like a much more evil action than it really was.

The only thing I really really dislike about him is his attitude flips, one minute he's all "I'm the shit" then bam boom pow "Oh god don't kill me" I expect him to lose against the likes of WB and Magellan at least at the point we were in when it happened, but he should be more defiant in defeat. idk
