The problem with Ace and Yami BB is that the only feats they have is fighting against eachother so it's hard to know where to place them
(they had other small battles but they were 2 vague to know for sure how strong they were)

How does that indicate he knew where he was the whole time? It could just mean he was unable to track him, and only could when he stopped.

Luffy's COO is severely lacking. He couldn't even tell the dragon on Punk Hazard was about to smack him with its tail.
Why would Luffy think the attack was going to hurt when he knows it wouldn't work because of his body still being rubbery?

It can go both ways.

CoO as a whole is lacking, Usopp didn't even notice Carrot while Law and Zoro did. Luffy had to dodge attacks blindfolded during his training but yet couldn't detect a big ass dragon tail? CoO is an inconsistent mess.

Pretty sure Luffys haki + elasticity combining doesn't make him invincible to every blunt attack, Mingo had harmed him any other time, perhaps he was shocked at how his attacks didn't do crap.
