-reaches motel front door and leans on the frame-

God....that was too close...

-passes out from headache and falls asleep in the closet-

-sits in closet still and opens the door- ......-gets up and walks over to the window-

-Jake is leaning against the tire of the car, his head down-

-runs outside- jake! -jumps down and runs over- ....no please open your eyes

-Eyes crack open a bit.-

jake...come on -wraps his arm around my neck and helps him up- i got you -starts to walk back inside the motel-

-laughs softly-

Good....was getting sick of sleeping on the cold ground...

-sits on bed watching jake and the window/door with arms bandaged-

-looks at her-

Alex....were you bitten?

 

[AlexUchina]

-shakes head- ......just some cuts from the tackle and shattering through a window killing an infected that stayed behind after you ran -doesnt mention that I hid in a closet and used a knife to cut my arms to get the shards of glass that were inside but no longer are-

-sighs heavily-

Thank god....I dont think I couldve standed that...

heh -stands up- im going to the bathroom -starts to walk to the bathroom-

-Jake sits up and looks at the rushed patch job he was hiding with his shirt sleeve-

How long I got....maybe a day? Two?

-sighs-

What am I going to tell her?

-closes and locks the door- ~sighs~ -takes off the bandages and looks at the cuts and burned skin- dang -starts bandaging arms again- ow...

-tries to remember the symptoms-

Fever....chills and pale skin....thats how it starts. Then it hits the lungs, and you start hacking blood....

-begins pacing around the room-

Im going to die in two days....better make 'em count.

-comes out- two days til what? -looks at jake then looks at his sleeve- hm?

-pulls sleeve down and manages a small smile-

Nothing.

jake.....-scratches arm from the dried blood and flinches then stops- what is it? you can tell me

-sighs heavily and rolls the sleeve up, showing the dark red and purple teeth marks on his arm-
